Language is a vital part of human connection. It allows us to communicate with one another, build relationships and feel connected with a multifaceted cultural heritage of traditions, art, music, literature, fashion, design, architecture, science, technology, and so much more. Unfortunately, language learning in the United States is decreasing, and especially the enrollment in German continues to decline.

In cooperation with political decision makers, partner organizations, and educational leaders, Forum Deutsch aims to strengthen the role of German language, engage in the development of strategies that counter this trend, and advocate for the needs of German language schools in the US and beyond.
